Tarzan Comic Strip (1949)

I have a nice collection of The Argus Super Comics - 1949-1950s, supplement of the Australian newspaper The Argus.

Each supplement was 8 pages, all comic strips were in Colour, with B&W articles

Comics Stories generally featured were: Superman Bugs Bunny Donald Duck King Of The Royal Mounted Tarzan Jimpy Little Annie Rooney

Here is an example of one of the comic strips that was published in Australia in March, 15, 1949 ... Tarzan, illustrated by Burne Hogarth.

As quoted from Wikipedia: With Tarzan, Hogarth brought together classicism, expressionism and narrative into a new form of dynamic, sequential art: the newspaper comic strip. Hogarth drew the Tarzan "Sunday (newspaper comic strip) page for 12 years (1937–45; 1947–50). This work has been reprinted often, most recently by NBM Publishing.
